    Immunogen

Synthetic peptide - KLH conjugated. Epitope: C-terminal domain of human. Remarks: The immunizing peptide shows 78% identity (84% similarity) with Mouse and 94% identity (100% similarity) with Rat.
  • Applikationshinweise

Immunohistochemistry with Formalin Fixed Paraffin Embedded Tissues (5 μg/mL). Antigen retrieval: Steam slides in 0.01 M sodium citrate buffer, pH 6.0, at 99-100 °C for 20 min. Remove from heat and let stand at room temperature in buffer for 20 min. Rinse in 1x TBS with Tween (TBST) for 1 min. at room temperature.
    Other applications not tested.
Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.

    LHCGR (Luteinizing Hormone/Choriogonadotropin Receptor (LHCGR))

    Andere Bezeichnung

    Luteinizing Hormone Receptor (LHCGR)

    Hintergrund

LHCGR is a Glycoprotein Hormone Receptor for both luteinizing hormone and choriogonadotropin. It is expressed in the reproductive organs of both males and females. In males, the luteinizing hormone/choriogonadotropin receptor is involved in the development and function of Leydig cells. Mutations in this gonadotropin receptor can result in disorders of male secondary sexual character development, such as familial male precocious puperty and male pseudohermaphroditism, or lead to adenomas of the testis. In females, inactivating mutations of LHCGR cause hypergonadotrophic hypogonadism with primary amenorrhea or oligomenorrhea, cystic ovaries, and infertility. LHCGR has many alternatively spliced isoforms that affect where this gene is expressed. LHCGR has been reported in brain, cervix, epididymis, ovary, placenta, prostate, testis, umbilical cord, and uterus. ESTs have been isolated from fetal lung/testis/B-cell and testis libraries.Synonyms: LCGR, LGR2, LH/CG-R, LHCGR, LHR, LHRHR, LSH-R, Luteinizing hormone receptor, Lutropin-choriogonadotropic hormone receptor
