Data suggest that inhibition of sirtuin 1 and sirtuin 2 in hepatocellular carcinoma cells (a) impairs cell survival and cell migration and (b) down-regulates expression of P-glycoprotein and MRP3 (ATP binding cassette subfamily C member 3).
Data show that bladder cancer is associated with perturbed expression of MRP3 and BCRP.
Histological subtype of epithelial ovarian cancer correlated with the expression of PgP (zeige PGPEP1 Antikörper), MRP1 (zeige MDM4 Antikörper), and MRP3. The lowest level of Pgp (zeige PGPEP1 Antikörper) and MRP1 (zeige MDM4 Antikörper) expression was found in endometrioid ovarian cancers
miR (zeige MLXIP Antikörper)-148a-siRNA and rifampin inhibited estradiol upregulation of MRP3 expression. miR (zeige MLXIP Antikörper)-148a may be involved in the estrogen induction in intrahepatic cholestasis of pregnancy via PXR (zeige NR1I2 Antikörper) signaling. MRP3 may be involved.
ABCC3 genetic variants are associated with postoperative morphine-induced respiratory depression and morphine pharmacokinetics in children.
PXR (zeige NR1I2 Antikörper) is a potential biomarker for predicting outcome and activates MRP3 transcription by directly binding to its promoter resulting in an increased L-OHP efflux capacity, and resistance to L-OHP or platinum drugs in CRC (zeige CALR Antikörper).
This study highlights the importance of ABCC3 transporters in drug resistance to chemotherapy in the context of breast cancer.
Wnt (zeige WNT2 Antikörper) signaling regulates ABCC3 expression in colon cancer cells, with the ABCC3 locus being a target of the transcription factors TCF7L2 (zeige TCF7L2 Antikörper) and beta-catenin (zeige CTNNB1 Antikörper).
ABCC3 is an important oncoprotein involved in glycolysis and drug resistance
This report is the first to describe liver overexpression of Abcc3 during the cancer initiation, promotion, and progression periods in rat hepatocarcinogenesis model and in human hepatocellular carcinoma
data show that this transporter activity is involved in ABCC3-induced senescence, demonstrating that this protein has a complex role in cancer, since its loss of function may promote escape from OIS and tumor formation
Transport of cefadroxil by ABCC3 and ABCC4 (zeige ABCC4 Antikörper) was saturable with K(m) values of 2.5 +/- 0.7 and 0.25 +/- 0.07 mM, respectively.
role of the bile acid membrane transporter Mrp3 (Abcc3), which is expressed in the liver and gut (zeige GUSB Antikörper), in the hepatic growth response elicited by bile acids and in liver regeneration after partial hepatectomy
Both Abcc2 (zeige ABCC2 Antikörper) and Abcc3 significantly influenced the PK properties of MTX (zeige MTX1 Antikörper).
InsP(3)R2-mediated Ca(2 (zeige CA2 Antikörper)+) signals enhance organic anion secretion into bile by targeting Mrp2 (zeige ABCC2 Antikörper) to the canalicular membrane.
Data show that Abcc2 (zeige ABCC2 Antikörper), Abcc3, and Abcg2 together mediate the rapid elimination of MTX (zeige MTX1 Antikörper) and 7OH-MTX (zeige MTX1 Antikörper).
These results suggest that Mrp3 plays major roles in the efflux transport of various glucuronide conjugates from the enterocytes to the portal blood in the small intestine together with unknown transporter(s)
induction of Mrp3 plays a significant role in hepatocyte protection during obstructive cholestasis
VDR (zeige CYP27B1 Antikörper) has a role in the protection of colon cells from bile acid toxicity through regulation of the Mrp3 expression
Mrp3 does not have a major role in bile salt physiology, but is involved in the transport of glucuronidated compounds, which could include glucuronidated bile salts in humans
The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the superfamily of ATP-binding cassette (ABC) transporters. ABC proteins transport various molecules across extra- and intra-cellular membranes. ABC genes are divided into seven distinct subfamilies (ABC1, MDR/TAP, MRP, ALD, OABP, GCN20, White). This protein is a member of the MRP subfamily which is involved in multi-drug resistance. The specific function of this protein has not yet been determined\; however, this protein may play a role in the transport of biliary and intestinal excretion of organic anions. Alternatively spliced variants which encode different protein isoforms have been described\; however, not all variants have been fully characterized.
