Beschreibung: Src is the best understood member of a family of nine tyrosine kinases regulating cellularresponses to extracellular stimuli. Src becomes activated upon dephosphorylation of Tyr527, leading to a conformational change of the src molecule towards an open, activeconformation which allows binding to other proteins via the SH2 and SH3 domain. Activated src phosphorylates a variety of substrates involved in the mitogenic signallingpathway, cytoskeletal organization, cell-substrate adhesion, cell-cell adhesion, cell-cellcommunication, and RNA processing.

Spezifität: This antibody specifically interacts with activated src phosphorylated at Tyr 416 and withsrc family kinases phosphorylated at the corresponding Tyr in the activation loop. Theantibody does not crossreact with the non-phosphorylated form of src nor with unrelatedphosphorylation sites. Species: Human, Mouse. Others not tested. Add. Anwendungen

Applikationshinweise: Western Blot: 0.5 µg/ml for HRPO/ECL detection. Recommended blocking buffer: Casein/Tween 20 based blocking and blot incubationbuffer. ELISA: 0.05 µg/ml. Flow Cytometry. Immunocytochemistry. Other applications not tested. Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.
