Hintergrund: IgG is the primary immunoglobulin protein found in blood/plasma, and functions to neutralize toxins, active complement, immobilizing pathogens and inducing opsonization, and cell-mediated cytotoxicity. Anti-light chain antibodies are manufactured specifically to interact with the light chain of the IgG and excluded antibodies able to bind to the heavy chain.
