Chicken IgY, does not cross-react with mouse, rabbit, guinea pig or rat immunglobulins
Aufreinigung
Produced in: E.coli
Immunogen
sdAbs anti-chicken IgY binds strongly and specifically to all IgYs. The anti-Chicken IgY sdAb is a single-domain anitbody against Chicken IgY, that can be labeled or immobilized by the customer.
Optimal working dilution should be determined by the investigator.

Informationen zur Lagerung
Vials containing lyophilized protein can be stored at 4 °C for 6 months. We recommend reconstituting the protein with 50 % sterile glycerol including 0.1 % sodium azide as preservative if applicable. Minimize the number of freeze-thaw cycles by aliquoting the reconstituted protein. Long term storage at -80 °C for up to 6 months. Working aliquots can be stored at -20 °C for up to 4 weeks. We do not recommend storing the reconstituted protein at 4 °C.
The immunorepertoire of chickens is much simpler compared to any other mammal, producing only one isotype of immunoglobulins (IgY) with no subclasses. The use of polyclonal antibodies raised in chicken has steadily grown over the last years, mainly due to the need to add a new “species” when performing multitarget immunofluorescence.
