Rat IgA (alpha chain) Antibody Rhodamine Conjugated

    Kreuzreaktivität (Details)

Assay by immunoelectrophoresis resulted in a single precipitin arc against anti-Goat Serum, Rat IgA and Rat Serum.  No reaction was observed against Rat IgG or Rat M.   Specificity was confirmed by ELISA at less than 1 % cross reactivity against other Rat heavy or light chain isotypes.

    Produktmerkmale

Anti-Rat IgG F(c) generated in goat is a proteolytic fragment of immunoglobulin G (IgG) obtained by limited digestion with the enzyme papain under controlled conditions of temperature, time and pH .

    Aufreinigung

This product was prepared from monospecific antiserum by immunoaffinity chromatography using antigens coupled to agarose beads followed by solid phase adsorption(s) to remove any unwanted reactivities.

    Immunogen

Optional[Immunogen]: Rat IgA alpha heavy chain

    Hintergrund

Anti-Rat IgA rhodamine Antibody generated in goat detects immunoglobulin A heavy chain from rat. Immunoglobulin A (IgA) is an antibody that plays a critical role in mucosal immunity. IgA has two subclasses (IgA1 and IgA2) and can exist in a dimeric form called secretory IgA (sIgA). Secondary Antibodies are available in a variety of formats and conjugate types. When choosing a secondary antibody product, consideration must be given to species and immunoglobulin specificity, conjugate type, fragment and chain specificity, level of cross-reactivity, and host-species source and fragment composition. This Anti-Rat IgA is conjugated to Rhodamine.
