Total protein and IgG concentration in the antiserum are comparable to those of pooled sheep serum. Antibody titre: Precipitin titre not less than 1:16 when tested against normal rat serum in agar block titration.

Aufreinigung: Delipidated, heat inactivated lyophilized stable whole serum
Immunoaffinity adsorbed using insolubilized antigens as required to eliminate antibodies reacting with other subunits of the immunoglobulin or reacting with other serum proteins. The use of insolubilized adsorption antigens prevents the presence of foreign protein or immune complexes in the antiserum.

Immunogen: Purified Fab of normal rat IgG. Freund's complete adjuvant is used in the first step of the immunization procedure.

Format: Lyophilized

Rekonstitution: It is reconstituted by adding 1 mL sterile distilled water.

Buffer: No foreign proteins added.

Konservierungsmittel: Without preservative

Handhabung: Working dilutions are prepared by adding sterile phosphate buffered saline (PBS, pH 7. 2). Repeated thawing and freezing should be avoided. Working dilutions should be stored at +4 °C, not refrozen, a nd preferably used the same day. If a slight precipitation occurs upon storage, this should be removed by centrifugation. It will not affect the performance of the product.
