Produktmerkmale: After multiple immunizations in Freunds adjuvant, eggs were collected and the IgY fraction prepared. The antibodies were immunoaffinity purified from a solid phase immunoabsorbant and conjugated to N-hydroxysuccinimide (NHS)-activated agarose beads. Beads were washed extensively after the blocking of the residual NHS sites.

The specific activity of the anti-BIG agarose was determined. For this lot, 1 mg bovine IgG bound per mL agarose.

Immunogen: Chickens were immunized with highly purified bovine IgG isolated from normal pooled bovine serum.
