Aufreinigung: Streptavidin-Phycoerythrin was prepared from electrophoretically purified streptavidin isolated from Streptomyces avidinii conjugated to the chromophore R-Phycoerythrin.   Free fluorochrome is removed by tandem molecular sieve chromatography.
