Buffer: 20 mM Hepes-NaOH, pH 7.4, with 0.0 NaCl, 0.02 % Lubrol, and 0.1 % Micr-O-protect.

Vorsichtsmaßnahmen: Donor samples were tested and found to be negative for HBs-antigen, anti-HIV1, anti-HIV2, anti-HCV, Lues and GPT. Nonetheless caution should be used when handling this material as there is a margin of error in all tests.

Hintergrund: Proteinase 3 is a serine proteinase with proteolytic activity towards a range of substrates. It is physiologically inhibited by alpha1-antitrypsin.
