We recommend adding a carrier protein such as HSA or BSA to 0.1% (i.e. 1.0 mg/mL). For best results aliquot contents and freeze at -20° C or colder. Avoid cycles of freezing and thawing. Background: Macrophage Inflammatory Protein-4 (MIP-4), also called CCL18, is a chemokine expressed in the lymph nodes, lungs, placenta and bone marrow. Although the MIP-4's receptor remains undetermined, MIP-4 is known to act as a chemoattractant for activated and non-activated T cells. Recombinant human MIP-4 is a non-glycosylated protein, containing 69 amino acids, with a molecular weight of 7.8 kDa.
