    Produktmerkmale

This is a synthetic peptide designed for use in combination with anti-GJA8 antibody (Catalog #: ARP36612_P050). It may block above mentioned antibody from binding to its target protein in western blot and/or immunohistochecmistry under proper experimental settings. There is no guarantee for its use in other applications.

    Hintergrund

One gap junction consists of a cluster of closely packed pairs of transmembrane channels, the connexons, through which materials of low MW diffuse from one cell to a neighboring cell. Defects in GJA8 are the cause of zonular pulverulent cataract type 1 (CZP1).
