This is a synthetic peptide designed for use in combination with anti-ATF5 antibody (Catalog #: ARP57977_P050). It may block above mentioned antibody from binding to its target protein in western blot and/or immunohistochecmistry under proper experimental settings. There is no guarantee for its use in other applications.
Each Investigator should determine their own optimal working dilution for specific applications.

Target
ATF5
(Activating Transcription Factor 5 (ATF5))
Hintergrund
ATF5 belongs to the bZIP family. It is transcriptional activator which binds the cAMP response element (CRE) (consensus: 5'-GTGACGT[AC][AG]-3'), a sequence present in many viral and cellular promoters and blocks the differentiation of neuroprogenitor cells into neurons. Its transcriptional activity is enhanced by CCND3 and slightly inhibited by CDK4. Loss of ATF5 is associated with hepatocellular carcinoma.
