A synthetic peptide for use as a blocking control in assays to test for specificity of MORF4 antibody, Alternative Names: MORF4 control peptide, MORF4 antibody Blocking Peptide, Anti-MORF4 Blocking Peptide, mortality factor 4 Blocking Peptide, CSR Blocking Peptide, CSRB Blocking Peptide, SEN Blocking Peptide, SEN1 Blocking Peptide, MORF4, MORF-4, MORF 4, MORF-4 Blocking Peptide, MORF 4 Blocking Peptide
Aufreinigung
The antibody is affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using epitope-specific phosphopeptide. The antibody against non-phosphopeptide is removed by chromatogramphy using non-phosphopeptide corresponding to the phosphorylation site.
Optimal conditions should be determined by the investigator

Hintergrund
Cellular senescence, the terminal nondividing state that normal cells enter following completion of their proliferative potential, is the dominant phenotype in hybrids of normal and immortal cells. Fusions of immortal human cell lines with each other have led to their assignment to 1 of several complementation groups. MORF4 is a gene on chromosome 4 that induces a senescent-like phenotype in cell lines assigned to complementation group B.
