A synthetic peptide for use as a blocking control in assays to test for specificity of KIF22 antibody, Alternative Names: KIF22 control peptide, KIF22 antibody Blocking Peptide, Anti-KIF22 Blocking Peptide, Kinesin Family Member 22 Blocking Peptide, KID Blocking Peptide, KNSL4 Blocking Peptide, OBP Blocking Peptide, OBP-1 Blocking Peptide, OBP-2 Blocking Peptide, KIF22, KIF-22, KIF 22, KIF-22 Blocking Peptide, KIF 22 Blocking Peptide
KIF22 a member of kinesin-like protein family. This family of proteins are microtubule-dependent molecular motors that transport organelles within cells and move chromosomes during cell division. The C-terminal half of this protein has been shown to bind DNA. Studies with the Xenopus homolog suggests its essential role in metaphase chromosome alignment and maintenance.
