A synthetic peptide for use as a blocking control in assays to test for specificity of RFP2 antibody, Alternative Names: RFP2 control peptide, RFP2 antibody Blocking Peptide, Anti-RFP2 Blocking Peptide, RFP2, RFP-2, RFP 2, RFP-2 Blocking Peptide, RFP 2 Blocking Peptide
The protein encoded by RFP2 is a member of the tripartite motif (TRIM) family. The TRIM motif includes three zinc-binding domains, a RING, a B-box type 1 and a B-box type 2, and a coiled-coil region. The protein localizes to cytoplasmic bodies near the nucleus, but its function is unknown. RFP2 is located on chromosome 13 within the minimal deletion region for B-cell chronic lymphocytic leukemia.
