The G155-228 antibody is specific for the hapten trinitrophenol (TNP), a hapten not expressed on non-human primate cells or non-human primate cell lines. In the absence of specific binding, this immunoglobulin may bind non-specifically to Fc receptors. This antibody is routinely tested by flow cytometric analysis. Other applications were tested during antibody development only or reported in the literature.

Aufreinigung

Tissue culture supernatant is purified by either protein A/G or affinity purification methods. Both methods yield antibody in solution that is free of most other soluble proteins, lipids, etc.
