    MIB2 (Mindbomb 2) is a RING-type E3 ubiquitin ligase that regulates membrane protein turnover and signal transduction, most notably within the Notch pathway. By catalyzing ubiquitination of Delta-like ligands, MIB2 promotes their endocytosis and activation competence, ensuring proper receptor engagement and downstream transcriptional responses.     Beyond canonical Notch signaling, MIB2 has been implicated in cytoskeletal organization and broader ubiquitin-mediated quality control.
