    Hintergrund

Background: The plant cell wall surrounds the plant cell as a complex network of polysaccharides classed as: cellulose, hemicelluloses and pectic polysaccharides and glycoproteins. Anchored to or embedded into plant cell wall are other polymers, like: lignin, suberin or cutin. Pectins are the major polysaccharides that build pectic matrix of plant primary cell walls.

Additional information: Contains 0.05 % Sodium Azide.Antibody recognition of arabinans increases with arabinofuranosidase action. Binds to a specific subset of pectic arabinans, and to longer stretches of 1,5-linked arabinosyl residues that are likely to be more abundant in unbranched arabinans.
