This antibody binds human glypican-1, which is a cell surface proteoglycan that bears heparan sulfate. This protein is required for skeletal muscle differentiation. Glypican-1 (GPC1) was significantly expressed in serum exosomes of patients with pancreatic cancer and so GPC1 is considered as a tumor marker for pancreatic cancer.

Application Notes original Clone: The binding characterization of this antibody to human glypican-1 was determined using ELISA. The binding of this antibody to human glypican-1 expressed on the surface of human breast cancer cell line MDA-MB-231 was determined using flow cytometry (CN112300283).

Produktmerkmale: This chimeric mouse antibody was made using the variable domain sequences of the original Rabbit IgG format, for improved compatibility with existing reagents, assays and techniques.
