Anwendungsinformationen

Applikationshinweise: The binding ability of MDE-8 to FcgammaRIIa was confirmed using flow cytometry. MDE-8 binds to FcgammaRIIa on cell lines, peripheral bloodmonocytes, PMN, platelets and blocked ligand binding via this receptor. It can also effectively blocked FcγRIIa ligand-binding via its F(ab')2 fragment. Overnight incubation of monocytes with F(ab')2 fragments of MDE-8 leads to a 60 % decrease in cell surface expression of FcγRIIa. MDE-8 whole antibody induced a concomitant 30 % decrease of FcγRI on THP-1cells and monocytes (PMID: 15982355). MDE-8 was reoported to induce Fc-mediated hypothermia and severe thrombocytopenia in FCGR2A mice (PMID: 26396093).
