    Anti-MEN1 Antibody has been tested in Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry.  Expect a band at ~67.5, 68kDa in western blot using appropriate tissues and lysates.  Anti-Menin1 should only be used for overexpressing conditions in western blot. Positive control used: Human Colon in IHC.

    Store vial at -20° C or below prior to opening. This vial contains a relatively low volume of reagent (25 μL). To minimize loss of volume dilute 1:10 by adding 225 μL of the buffer stated above directly to the vial. Recap, mix thoroughly and briefly centrifuge to collect the volume at the bottom of the vial. Use this intermediate dilution when calculating final dilutions as recommended below. Store the vial at -20°C or below after dilution. Avoid cycles of freezing and thawing.

    Chicken Anti-Menin1 Antibody, Menin 1, Menin, SCG2, Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia I, MEAI,Menin is a scaffold protein that functions in histone modification and epigenetic gene regulation. It is thought to regulate several pathways and processes by altering chromatin structure through the modification of histones. Essential component of a MLL/SET1 histone methyltransferase (HMT) complex, a complex that specifically methylates 'Lys-4' of histone H3 (H3K4). Functions as a transcriptional regulator. Binds to the TERT promoter and represses telomerase expression. Plays a role in TGFB1-mediated inhibition of cell-proliferation, possibly regulating SMAD3 transcriptional activity. Represses JUND-mediated transcriptional activation on AP1 sites, as well as that mediated by NFKB subunit RELA. Positively regulates HOXC8 and HOXC6 gene expression. May be involved in normal hematopoiesis through the activation of HOXA9 expression. May be involved in DNA repair. Anti-MEN1 Antibody is useful for researchers interested in Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia Type I, Insulinoma, Cancer Research and Epigenetic Research.
