    SAP90/PSD-95-associated protein, SAPAP, PSD-95/SAP90-binding protein, hGKAP, Guanylate kinase-associated protein, DAP, Disks large-associated protein,Membrane associated guanylate kinases (MAGUKs) form a family of scaffolding proteins, which are often associated with cellular junctions. Their capacity to serve as platforms for organizing larger protein assemblies results from the presence of several protein-protein interaction domains. PDZ-domain containing proteins of the MAGUK family target, anchor and cluster receptors and channels to subcellular sites.
