Hintergrund: Background: ADP-ribosylation factor GTPase activating protein 3 (ArfGAP3) is a GTPase activating protein that interacts with the GTPase ADP-ribosylation factor (Arf) in Golgi membranes and vesicles. Although they are differentially regulated, ArfGAP3 along with ArfGAP1 and ArfGAP2 has been shown to play an overlapping role in COPI-mediated transport and in the maintenance of Golgi organization.
