Hintergrund
- Background: MASTL (microtubule-associated serine/threonine-protein kinase-like) is an uncharacterized putative serine/threonine kinase which may be involved in megakaryocyte development. Defects in MASTL are the cause of thrombocytopenia type 2 (THC2) a disease characterized by decreased circulating platelets and increased potential for bleeding.
