S100A4 exerts its function via direct interaction with a number of proteins including P53, P63, non-muscle myosin IIA, 64 integrin, and liprin b1. S100A4 is overexpressed in highly metastatic cancers, which makes it useful as a marker of tumor progression.

Known_Application: Western Blot (1-2 μg/mL), Flow Cytometry (1-2 μg/million cells), Immunofluorescence (1-2 μg/mL), Immunohistochemistry (Formalin-fixed) (1-2 μg/mL for 30 minutes at RT),(Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires heating tissue sections in 10 mM Tris with 1 mM EDTA, pH 9.0, for 45 min at 95°C followed by cooling at RT for 20 minutes), Optimal dilution for a specific application should be determined.
