Usage: Immunohistochemistry: This antibody stained HepG2 cells. The primary antibody was incubated at 3 μg/mL overnight at 4 °C followed by a fluorescent labeled secondary antibody. Neutralization: To yield one-half maximal inhibition [ND50] of the biological activity of Human BMP-4 (5 ng/mL), a concentration of 0.4-0.6 μg/mL of this antibody is required. ELISA: In a sandwich ELISA (assuming 100 μL/well), a concentration of 4-8 μg/mL of this antibody will detect at least 2000 pg/mL of recombinant human BMP-4 when used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents. Western Blot: To detect hBMP-4 by Western Blot analysis this antibody can be used at a concentration of 0.25-0.50 μg/mL. Used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents the detection limit for recombinant hBMP-4 is 2-4 ng/lane, under non-reducing conditions.
