Anwendungsinformationen

Applikationshinweise: IHC, ICC (frozen or formalin–fixed paraffin-embedded (FFPE) tissue sections, cell smears. For IHC dilute conc. antibodies 1:50-1:100, use streptavidin-biotin system or polymer system, incubate 30 minutes at room temperature. Prediluted antibody is ready to be used for IHC. This antibody requires antigen retriever, Trypsin (AR-6541) or citrate buffer (AR-6544). (Follow data sheet for Trypsin, or boil tissue in 10 mM citrate, pH 6.0 for 10-15 minutes followed by cooling for 10-15 minutes at RT). The optimum dilution should be determined by the individual lab. Positive Control: Human skin, squamous cell Ca. Cellular Localization: Cytoplasmic.

Hintergrund: Cytokeratins are intermediate filament keratins found in the intracytoplasmic cytoskeleton of epithelial tissue There are two types of Cytokeratins: the low weight, acidic type I cytokeratins and the high weight, basic or neutral type II. Cytokeratins are usually found in pairs comprising a type I Cytokeratin and a type II cytokeratin. The high molecular weight cytokeratins, which are the basic or neutral cytokeratins, comprise subtypes CK1, CK2, CK3, CK4, CK5, CK6, CK7, CK8 and CK9. The low molecular weight cytokeratins, which are the acidic cytokeratins, comprise subtypes CK10, CK12, CK 13, CK14, CK16, CK17, CK18, CK19 and CK20.This antibody recognizes low molecular weight cytokeratins (CK 10 (56.5), CK14 (50), CK15 (50), CK16 (48) and CK19(40) of the acidic family.
