Spezifität: Recognizes an epitope localized in the lectin domain of rat surfactant protein D (SP-D). Reacts with alveolar type II cells, alveolar macrophages, types of Clara cells SP-A+ and SP-A- and extracellular deposits. Does not react with Alveolar type III cells. No reaction on rat skin, colon, kidney or liver. Species cross-reactivity: Rat and human.

Applikationshinweise: Approved: ELISA, IHC, IHC-Fr, IHC-P, WB

Usage: Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry and ELISA. Immunohistochemistry (Use snap frozen or paraffin embedded tissue): Fresh rat tissue: 1:400, fresh human tissue: 1:20. Fixation: Acetone 5 minutes at 4?C, paraformaldehyde, paraffin. Tissue pretreatment: Microwave treatment 2 x 5 minutes at 750W for paraffin tissues. ELISA: Use as a capture antibody.
