- Recognizes human CD227, the breast cancer associated mucin encoded by the Muc-1 gene. In normal tissues expression is restricted to specialized glandular epithelial. Recognizes the peptide epitope ARG-PRO-ALA-PRO within the protein core of the mucin.

Usage: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, Immunohistochemistry, ELISA and Western Blot. Immunohistochemistry: Frozen, paraffin and resin sections. Does not require protein digestion pre-treatment of paraffin sections. This product requires antigen retrieval using heat treatment prior to staining of paraffin sections. ELISA: 1:100-1:1000. Positive control: Breast carcinoma. -
