Spezifität: Reacts with both transmembrane and GPI anchored CD58. Recognizes the CD58 glycoprotein of about 60-70kD and will inhibit HLA-DR mediated T cell cytotoxicity.

Usage: Antibody will inhibit HLA-DR mediated T cell cytotoxicity. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, Immunohistochemistry, Immunoprecipitation. Immunohistochemistry: Frozen. Flow Cytometry: 5x10^5 cultured human Nalm-6 cells were washed and incubated 45 minutes on ice with 80 mL of anti-CD58/Biotin at 10 mg/mL. Cells were washed twice and incubated with 2? reagent Streptavidin/R-PE after which they were washed three times, fixed and analyzed using a BD FACS Calibur. Cells stained positive with a mean shift of 1.29 log10 fluorescent units when compared to a Mouse IgG1/Biotin negative control at a similar concentration. Binding was 94 % blocked when pre incubated 10 minutes with 20 mL of 0.5 mg/mL anti-CD58 antibody. The applications listed have been tested for the unconjugated form of this product. Other forms have not been tested.
