Aufreinigung
The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen.
Immunogen
The antiserum was produced against synthesized non-phosphopeptide derived from human MARCKS around the phosphorylation site of serine 162 (K-K-SP-F-K).
Western Blot: 1: 500approx. 1: 1000. Other applications not tested. Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.

Hintergrund
MARCKS, (Myristoylated Alanine-Rich C Kinase Substrate), is a member of a family of calmodulin binding proteins and is a major substrate for phosphorylation by protein kinase C (PKC). The phosphorylation of Ser152/156 can be used as a measure of PKC activation.
