Mouse alpha 5 beta 3 protein purified from the mouse hybridoma 2B4. Spleen cells from immunised Armenian hamsters were fused with cells of the P3U1 mouse myeloma cell line.
Flow Cytometry: Use 10 μL of 1/10-1/25 diluted antibody to label 10^6 cells in 100 μL. Immunoprecipitation. Other applications not tested. Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.

Hintergrund
CD61 is a 90kD a type I membrane protein, which is expressed primarily on megakaryocytes, platelets, monocytes, macrophages, granulocytes and endothelial cells. CD61 associates with either the alpha IIb integrin (CD41) or the alpha V integrin (CD51) to form the platelet glycoprotein complex IIb/IIIa and the vitronectin receptor (VNR) respectively.
