Anwendungsinformationen

Applikationshinweise: Immunoblotting (Western or dot blot), ELISA, immunoperoxidase electron microscopy andimmunohistochemistry as well as other peroxidase-antibody based enzymatic assaysrequiring lot-to-lot consistency. Recommended dilutions: Western blot 1: 500 - 1: 3,000. ELISA 1: 5,000 - 1: 25,000. Immunohistochemistry 1: 300 - 1: 1,500.
Other applications not tested.
Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.

Handhabung

Rekonstitution: Restore with 1.0 mL of deionized water or equivalent.

Konzentration: 1.0 mg/mL (by UV absorbance at 280 nm)

Buffer: 0.02 M Potassium Phosphate, 0.12 M Sodium Chloride, pH 7.2, 0.01 % (w/v) Gentamicin Sulfate, 10 mg/mL BSA (IgG and Protease free)

Konservierungsmittel: Gentamicin sulfate

Informationen zur Lagerung: Store vial at 4 °C prior to restoration. Restore with deionized water (or equivalent), centrifuge product if not completely clear after standing at room temperature. This product is stable for four weeks at 4 °C as an undiluted liquid. For extended storage reconstitute product with 50% glycerol instead of water and then aliquot contents and freeze at -20 °C or below. Avoid cycles of freezing and thawing.

After the initial discovery of biotin, nearly forty years of research were required to establish it as a vitamin. Biotin is required by all organisms but can only be synthesized by bacteria, yeasts, molds, algae, and some plant species. Biotin is required as prosthetic group of enzymes involved in incorporation of carbon dioxide into organic compounds. Biotin has a MW of 244 Da.
