ELISA: To detect MIP-3 alpha by direct ELISA (using 100 μL/well antibody solution) aconcentration of at least 0.15 - 0.3 μg/mL of this antibody is required. This antibody allowsthe detection of 0.2 ng/well of recombinant MIP-3 alpha. Western blot: This antibody can be used at a concentration of 0.1 - 0.2 μg/mL. Thedetection limit for recombinant MIP-3-alpha is 1.5 - 3.0 ng/lane, under either reducing ornon-reducing conditions. Other applications not tested. Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.

Hintergrund
Macrophage Inflammatory Protein 3 alpha is a chemotactic factor that attracts lymphocytes and, slightly, neutrophils, but not monocytes. It inhibits proliferation of myeloid progenitors in colony formation assays. It may be involved in formation and function of the mucosal lymphoid tissues by attracting lymphocytes and dendritic cells towards epithelial cells. It binds to CCR6.Synonyms: Beta chemokine exodus-1, C-C motif chemokine 20, CC chemokine LARC, CCL20, DC marker, Dendritic Cell Marker, Exodus-1, LARC, Liver and activation-regulated chemokine, MIP-3 alpha, MIP3A, Macrophage inflammatory protein 3 alpha, SCYA20, Small-inducible cytokine A20
