Applikationshinweise

IF: 1: 80. IHC: 1: 500 for paraffin sections, 60 min at RT or 2-8C over night. ELISA: > 1: 200. RIA. Positive control: Human skin or aorta. Pretreatment: After de-waxing the tissue slices they are treated with 0.2 % hyaluronidase(app.300 U/mg) in TBS 15 min at 37C. There after non-specific binding is blocked byblocking serum or 3 % BSA in TBS. For peroxidase systems blocking with 1 % peroxidesolution in TBS for 30 min at RT is recommended.
Other applications not tested.
Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user. -

Hintergrund
- Elastin is the major protein of elastic fibres that form a randomly orientated network in many tissues. Due to its high content of hydrophobic amino acids it is relatively resistant to chemicals and proteinase. Its principal function is to provide elasticity to tissues, however it has also chemotactic and cell adhesion properties.Synonyms: ELN, Tropoelastin
