Spezifität: The antibody recognizes the Mr 200,000 g1-chain of human reduced and alkylated laminin produced by various cultured cells, which produce laminins complexed with it. The specificity of Mab BC17 has been confirmed by immunoprecipitation and Elisa by using recombinant g1- chain. The antibody only reacts with human cells and tissues
(further studies are going on).

Immunogen: Monoclonal antibody (Mab) to laminin g1-chain is derived from the hybridoma produced by fusion between myeloma cells and Balb/c spleen cells. Pepsin-digested laminins from human placenta were used as immunogen.
