  1. these peptides are identified as fragments of albumin (zeige ALB Proteine). The isolated fragments activate MRGPRX2 (zeige MRGPRX2 Proteine) and degranulate MRGPRX2 (zeige MRGPRX2 Proteine) expressing LAD (zeige DLD Proteine) 2 cells in dose-dependent manner. The isolated basic peptides generated from human albumin (zeige ALB Proteine) are able to degranulate mast cells via the MRGPRX2 (zeige MRGPRX2 Proteine).

  2. use of EPI (zeige TFPI Proteine)-X4, a fragment of serum albumin (zeige ALB Proteine), as a urinary biomarker for late acute GvHD was shown to be not meaningful in case control studies

  3. serum ALB (zeige ALB Proteine) level may be more useful than the degree of fibrosis for the prediction of hepatocellular carcinoma after sustained virological responses in chronic hepatitis C.

  4. Increased Ischemia-modified albumin (zeige ALB Proteine) levels and Carotid intima-media thickness may be related to increased oxidative stress and risk of atherosclerosis in individuals with Obstructive sleep apnea.

  5. Peak unbound bilirubin was primarily associated with a decrease in bilirubin albumin (zeige ALB Proteine) binding affinity in infants

  6. This meta-analysis showing increased ischaemia-modified albumin (zeige ALB Proteine) (IMA) level in both hypothyroidism and hyperthyroidism patients and its association with thyroid profile suggests that serum IMA could be used as a simple measure of increased oxidative stress in thyroid dysfunction.

  7. The optimal cut-off value was identified to be 45.6 g/L, 26.9 g/L and 1.30 for serum albumin (ALB (zeige ALB Proteine)), serum globulin (GLB (zeige DCXR Proteine)) and albumin (zeige ALB Proteine)/globulin ratio (AGR (zeige AGRN Proteine)) in terms of survival, respectively.

  8. Physiological serum copper concentrations found in malignancies cause unfolding induced aggregation of human serum albumin (zeige ALB Proteine) in vitro.

  9. the structural homology between HSA (zeige CD24 Proteine) and ESA (zeige FLOT2 Proteine) is big, their crystal complexes with Myr-2S-cPA (zeige CPA1 Proteine) demonstrate significantly different mode of binding of this LPL (zeige LCP1 Proteine) analogue. HSA (zeige CD24 Proteine) binds three molecules of Myr-2S-cPA (zeige CPA1 Proteine), whereas ESA (zeige FLOT2 Proteine) only one. Moreover, none of the identified Myr-2S-cPA (zeige CPA1 Proteine) binding sites overlap in both albumins

  10. ghrelin (zeige GHRL Proteine) binds to serum albumin (zeige ALB Proteine) and that this interaction impacts on the biological activity of the hormone.

Human Serum Albumin (HSA) Protein Überblick

Protein Überblick

Albumin is a soluble, monomeric protein which comprises about one-half of the blood serum protein. Albumin functions primarily as a carrier protein for steroids, fatty acids, and thyroid hormones and plays a role in stabilizing extracellular fluid volume. Albumin is a globular unglycosylated serum protein of molecular weight 65,000. Albumin is synthesized in the liver as preproalbumin which has an N-terminal peptide that is removed before the nascent protein is released from the rough endoplasmic reticulum. The product, proalbumin, is in turn cleaved in the Golgi vesicles to produce the secreted albumin.
