It was shown that MCP2 was able to activate the NF-kappaB (zeige NFKB1 Proteine) signaling pathway inducing the epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT (zeige ITK Proteine)) and promoting the migration and invasion of ESCC cells in vitro.
Transcriptome analysis identified several novel IPF-related genes. Among them, CCL8 is a candidate molecule for the differential diagnosis and prediction of survival.
Findings exemplify how gradients of chemoattractive factors such as CCL8, drive metastasis and suggest that interference with their operation may provide means for breast cancer management.
Detecting expression changes in TLR4 (zeige TLR4 Proteine) and MCP2 in the peripheral blood is a feasible method for predicting the occurrence of abortion in women of child-bearing age
Dermal fibroblast CCL8 promotes melanoma metastasis.
Authors show that the previously observed downregulation of hsa (zeige CD24 Proteine)-miR (zeige MLXIP Proteine)-92a and upregulation of CCL8 during human cytomegalovirus latent infection of myeloid cells are intimately linked via the latency-associated expression of cytomegalovirus UL111A.
CCL8 is an antimicrobial protein with bacteriocidal activity against E. coli.
JAK2 (zeige JAK2 Proteine) and STAT3 (zeige STAT3 Proteine) activation is not essential for CCL3 (zeige CCL3 Proteine), CCL5 (zeige CCL5 Proteine) or CCL8 induced chemotaxis.
Results indicate that the induction of MCP-2/CCL8 by mycobacteria is dependent on the activation of TLR2/PI3K (zeige PIK3CA Proteine)/Akt (zeige AKT1 Proteine) signaling pathway.
Macrophage Colony Stimulating Factor (zeige CSF2 Proteine) and Monocyte Chemoattractant Protein are elevated in sera of intrinsic asthmatics compared to normal controls.
tumours are characterized by expression of inflammatory chemokines (CCL2 (zeige CCL2 Proteine), CCL5 (zeige CCL5 Proteine), CCL7 (zeige CCL7 Proteine), CCL8, CCL12 (zeige Ccl12 Proteine), CXCL9 (zeige CXCL9 Proteine), CXCL10 (zeige CXCL10 Proteine) and CX3CL1 (zeige CX3CL1 Proteine)), reflected by an enrichment of activated Foxp3 (zeige FOXP3 Proteine)(-) and Foxp3 (zeige FOXP3 Proteine)(+) T cells
these data reveal an important role for BLIMP1 (zeige PRDM1 Proteine) in modulating host defenses by suppressing expression of the chemokine (zeige CCL1 Proteine) CCL8.
Results indicate that the induction of MCP-2/CCL8 by mycobacteria is dependent on the activation of TLR2/PI3K/Akt (zeige AKT1 Proteine) signaling pathway.
Data indicate mRNA upregulation of CCR2 (zeige CCR2 Proteine) and CCR2 (zeige CCR2 Proteine) ligands CCL2 (zeige CCL2 Proteine), CCL7 (zeige CCL7 Proteine), CCL8, and CCL12 (zeige Ccl12 Proteine) in aortas from DOCA/salt-treated hypertension.
Vitamin B6 supplementation downregulates Cd8a (zeige CD8A Proteine) and Ccl8 mRNA expression, so these candidate genes may play a protective role against colonic aberrant crypt foci development.
early and preclinical expression of CCL8 in plasma predicts overall survival of graft-vs.-host disease (GVHD) mice. Together with an involvement of allo-recognition in CCL8 expression, it suggests that CCL8 plays an important role in GVHD pathology.
MCP (zeige CR1L Proteine)/CCL8 was induced via STAT3 (zeige STAT3 Proteine) and exhibited anti-tumor metastatic effect
promotes atopic dermatitis by recruiting IL-5 (zeige IL5 Proteine)+ Th2 cells
CCL8 proteins were present in the vast majority of tissues investigated. mRNA for these proteins was also expressed in most of these tissues suggesting local production and the ability to respond in situ to inflammatory stimuli.
This gene is one of several cytokine genes clustered on the q-arm of chromosome 17. Cytokines are a family of secreted proteins involved in immunoregulatory and inflammatory processes. The protein encoded by this gene is structurally related to the CXC subfamily of cytokines. Members of this subfamily are characterized by two cysteines separated by a single amino acid. This cytokine displays chemotactic activity for monocytes, lymphocytes, basophils and eosinophils. By recruiting leukocytes to sites of inflammation this cytokine may contribute to tumor-associated leukocyte infiltration and to the antiviral state against HIV infection.
