Mouse (Murine) ATP-Binding Cassette, Sub-Family B (MDR/TAP), Member 1A (ABCB1A) Interaktionspartner

  1. The activation of P-Glycoprotein, Abcb1a, -mediated ATP hydrolysis by methadone was monophasic, whereas loperamide activation of ATP hydrolysis was biphasic implying methadone has a single binding site and loperamide has 2 binding sites on P-gp.

  2. P-glycoprotein catalytic mechanism: studies of the ADP-vanadate inhibited state.

  3. A panel of 18 P-gp substrates were administered into the airways of an isolated perfused mouse lung (IPML) model derived from Mdr1a/Mdr1b knockout mice. Parallel intestinal absorption studies were performed. Lung P-gp can affect the pulmonary kinetics of a subset of P-gp substrates.

  4. The results of this study suggested suggest that THC exposure decreased the neurobehavioral effects of risperidone because of P-gp upregulation in the brain.

  5. The results show that the absence of P-gp results in a significant disturbance of Abeta removal from the brain and increased intraparenchymal cerebral amyloid angiopathy after immunization against Beta-Amyloid.

  6. These data confirm that seliciclib displays a limited brain exposure and Abcb1a is at least partly responsible for limited brain exposure of seliciclib in mice.

  7. Data suggest that, in the presence of verapamil (a substrate that activates ATP hydrolysis), the nucleotide-binding domains of Abcb1a (reconstituted in lipid bilayer nanodiscs) are never far apart during cycle of ATP hydrolysis.

  8. Interactions and cooperativity between P-glycoprotein structural domains determined by thermal unfolding have been reported.

  9. MDR1A deficiency restrains tumor growth in murine colitis-associated carcinogenesis.

  10. multiple pathways, including MMP9 cleavage and ubiquitinylation, mediated P-gp downmodulation.

  11. Data suggest that MDR3 isoforms, both human and mouse isoforms, exhibit different affinities for fluorescent dyes and drugs; thus, ligands likely occupy partially overlapping but distinct binding sites.

  12. using double electron-electron resonance and molecular dynamics simulations to describe the ATP- and substrate-coupled conformational cycle of the mouse ABC efflux transporter P-glycoprotein (Pgp; also known as ABCB1)

  13. Mdr1a deficiency significantly enhanced the analgesic effect of aconitine and exacerbated its toxicity in the brain.

  14. Chrysosplenetin inhibited P-gp activity and reverse the up-regulated P-gp and MDR1 levels induced by artemisinin.

  15. Tamsulosin and tolterodine with P-gp gene expression and activity in an enantiomer-specific way.

  16. These results indicate that nilotinib reverses P-gp- mediated MDR by blocking the efflux function and potentiates DOX-induced cardiotoxicity.

  17. Results indicate that Abeta accumulates to a greater degree in brains of mice lacking MDR1A

  18. [(18)F]Mefway is modulated by P-gp, and not by Bcrp in rodents.

  19. P-gp, Bcrp, Mrp1 and Mrp4 are differentially expressed at the outer and inner blood retinal barrier, resulting in an altered ability to limit substrate distribution at the retina as compared with the blood brain barrier

  20. Analysis regulator effects analysis, showed that curcumin's antiinflammatory activity in Mdr1a(-/-) mouse colon may be mediated by activation of alpha-catenin, which has not previously been reported

ATP-Binding Cassette, Sub-Family B (MDR/TAP), Member 1A (ABCB1A) Protein Überblick

Protein Überblick

The membrane-associated protein encoded by this gene is a member of the superfamily of ATP-binding cassette (ABC) transporters. ABC proteins transport various molecules across extra- and intra-cellular membranes. ABC genes are divided into seven distinct subfamilies (ABC1, MDR/TAP, MRP, ALD, OABP, GCN20, White). This protein is a member of the MDR/TAP subfamily. Members of the MDR/TAP subfamily are involved in multidrug resistance as well as antigen presentation. This gene encodes a p-glycoprotein which actively transports a variety of hydrophobic amphipathic drugs and plays a major role in the blood-brain barrier permeability of certain drugs.
