Beschreibung: SOCS3 (suppressor of cytokine signaling 3), also known as CIS3 (cytokine-inducible SH2protein 3) is a negative regulator of particular cytokine signaling pathways. SOCS3 isinduced by a variety of cytokines and other stimuli, such as erythropoietin, leptin andlipopolysaccharides and inhibits tyrosinkinase activity of JAK kinases, or e.g. JNKphosphorylation. SOCS3 modulates cytokine-mediated and neoplastic-proliferativeresponses and is involved also in maintaining leukocytes in quiescent state until antigenstimulation.

Spezifität: The antibody SO1 reacts with SOCS3, an intracellular cytokine signaling inhibitor.

Anwendungen

Applikationshinweise: Western Blotting - Positive control: HeLa human cervix carcinoma cell line. Sample preparation: Resuspend approx. 50 mil. cells in 1 ml cold Lysis buffer (1%laurylmaltoside in 20 mM Tris/Cl, 100 mM NaCl pH 8. 2, 50 mM NaF including Proteaseinhibitor Cocktail). Incubate 60 min on ice. Centrifuge to remove cell debris. Mix lysate withreducing Laemmli SDS-PAGE sample buffer. Application note: Reducing conditions.

Reinheit: > 95% (by SDS-PAGE)

Reinigung: Purified from hybridoma culture supernatant by protein A-affinity chromatography.

Buffer: Phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 15 mM sodium azide, approx. pH 7.4
