The antibody is stable for at least years from the data of receipt when stored at -20° C to -70° C. Reconstituted antibody (suggesting with sterile PBS) can also be aliquotted and stored frozen at -20° C to -70° C in a manual defrost freezer for months without detectable loss activity. Upon reconstitution, the antibody can be stored at 4° C for 1 month. Please avoid freeze-thaw cycles.

Beschreibung The human androgen receptor protein belongs to the class of nuclear receptors called activated class I steroid receptors, which also includes glucocorticoid receptor, progesterone receptor, and mineralocorticoid receptor. These receptors recognize canonical androgen response elements (AREs), which are inverted repeats of 5-prime-TGTTCT-3-prime. The major domains of AR include N- and C-terminal activation domains, which are designated activation function-1 and -2 (AF-1 and AF-2), a ligand-binding domain. The androgen receptor contains 920 amino acids (110 kDa).
Spezifität The rabbit anti-human AR antibody detects specifically target derived from human recombinant protein as well as selected cell lysates. Cross reactivity with mouse and rat AR was not tested yet.
