Beschreibung: Integrins are heterodimeric cell surface receptors composed of alpha and beta subunits,which mediate cell-cell and cell-extracellular matrix attachments. They are responsible foradhesion of platelets and other cells to collagens, modulation of collagen and collagenasegene expression, force generation and organization of newly synthesized extracellularmatrix. Aberrant integrin expression has been found in many epithelial tumours. Changesin integrin expression have been shown to be important for the growth and earlymetastatic capacity of melanoma cells.

Spezifität: This antibody recognises CD49b, a 160kD cell surface antigen expressed by NK cells and asmall subset of T-cells. Clone DX5 stains NK cells from all mouse strains tested includingBalb/c mice. Species: Mouse. Others not tested.

Anwendungen

Applikationshinweise: Flow Cytometry: Use 10l of the suggested working dilution to label 10e6 cells in 100l,The Fc region of monoclonal antibodies may bind non-specifically to cells expressing lowaffinity Fc receptors. Other applications not tested. Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.
