Beschreibung: Histidyl-tRNA synthetase (HisRS, Jo-1) is an aminoacyl-tRNA synthetase that chargestransfer RNAs (tRNAs) with a cognate histidine residue to produce histidyl-tRNA. Histidyl-tRNA is essential for the incorporation of histidine into proteins. Systemicautoimmune diseases lead to aminoacyl-tRNA synthetase autoantibodies that are directedagainst self structures. HisRS is an antigen in systemic autoimmune diseases such asrheumatic arthritis or polymyositis with associated interstitial lung disease,thrombocytopenia and Raynaud's phenomenon (vasospastic attacks that cause bloodvessels to constrict). HisRS autoantibodies are unlike anti-synthetase antibodies becausethey bind the nonlinear, exposed epitopes on native HisRS when the enzyme is complexedto tRNA(His).

Spezifität: HisRS (E492) antibody detects endogenous levels of HisRS protein. Species: Human, Mouse. Others not tested.

Applikationshinweise: ELISA: 1: 20000~1: 40000. WB: 1: 500~1: 1000. Other applications not tested. Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.
