Beschreibung: The gamma-tubulin (TUBG1, relative molecular weight about 48 kDa) is minor member oftubulin family (less that 0. 01% of tubulin dimer). The gamma-tubulin is coded only by twogenes, but it is also posttranslationally modified. In mammalian interphase cells it isprimarly localized in MTOCs in perinuclear region, in mitotic cells it is on spindle polebodies.

Spezifität: The antibody TU-30 recognizes C-terminal peptide sequence of gamma-tubulin. Species: Human, Porcine, Mouse, Rat, Chicken, Protozoa, Plants. Others not tested.

Anwendungen

Applikationshinweise: Immunocytochemistry (Purified Antibody: 1-2 μg/ml, Staining technique: (a) Fix cells for 10min in methanol at -20C and for 6 min in acetone at -20C, (b) Fix cells directly inmethanol for 10 min at -20C or in acetone for 10 min at -20C. Incubation: 45 min in roomtemperature, Positive control: P-19 mouse embryonal carcinoma cell line 3T3 mousefibroblasts, Application note: The antibody TU-30 stains only fixed cells). Western blot. Other applications not tested. Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.
