Immunogen Bovine cytochrome c
Beschreibung Cytochrome c (m. w. 12,500) is an electron transport protein from mitochondria. It isreleased from mitochondria to cytoplasm during the early stages of apoptosis, prior tocaspase activation, DNA fragmentation, and loss of membrane potential. The cytoplasmiccytochrome c is associated with Apaf-1 and caspase-9 to activate caspase-3 and othercaspases.
Spezifität The cytochrome c antibody detects the 12 kDa cytochrome c. Species: Mouse, Bovine. Others not tested.

Applikationshinweise Western Blot: 0.5-4 μg/ml. Mouse small intestine lysate can be used as a positive control. Other applications not tested. Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.
