Beschreibung: Chemokines play an important role in inflammation and are critical for the recruitment ofeffector immune cells to sites of infection. Chemokines activate leukocytes by binding to Gprotein coupled receptors. The ever-growing chemokine receptor subtypes can be dividedinto 2 major groups, CXCR and CCR, based on the 2 major classes of chemokines. One ofthe CCR receptors, CCR1, is expressed on neutrophils, monocytes, lymphocytes, andeosinophils and binds the leukocyte chemoattractant and hemopoiesis regulatormacrophage-inflammatory protein (MIP-1), eotaxin, as well as several other relatedchemokines. Mice lacking the chemokine receptor CCR1 have defects in neutrophiltrafficking and proliferation.

Spezifität: The anti-CCR1 antibody recognizes 42 kDa CCR1 in Western blot analysis. Species: Human, Mouse. Others not tested.

Anwendungen

Applikationshinweise: Western Blot: 1-4 μg/ml. Other applications not tested. Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.

Buffer: PBS containing 50 % glycerol, 1 % BSA, and 0.02 % thimerosal

Lagerung: Store the antibody undiluted at -20°C or for long term storage (in aliquots) at -70°C. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Shelf life: one year from despatch.
