Beschreibung: This product consists of Protein-G affinity-purified polyclonal rabbit antibodies against zona radiata proteins (Zrp) from Atlantic salmon (Salmo salar). The antibodies are dissolved in 0.1M Na-phosphate, 0.15M NaCl, 1% BSA, 0.1% Na-azide, pH 7.4.

Spezifität: O-146 binds with high affinity to the three zona radiata proteins alpha, beta and gamma in plasma samples from Atlantic salmon. The antibody cross-reacts well with Zrp in plasma samples from brown trout (Salmo trutta), rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss) and Arctic char (Salvelinus alpinus), reasonably well with Zrp from Atlantic cod (Gadus morhua), turbot (Scophthalmus maximus), flounder (Platichthys flesus) and halibut (Hippoglossus hippoglossus). Crossreactivity with zona pellucida proteins may be observed in fish ovaries or eggs. The degree of crossreactivity may differs between the different Zrp proteins and with the different methods employed. (Oncorhynchus mykiss), Arctic charr (Salvelinus alpinus), turbot (Scophthalmus maximus) and cod (Gadus morhua). The degree of cross-reactivity differs between species and with the methods employed.

Anwendungen

Applikationshinweise: O-146 is well suited for ELISA and immunoblotting. Since assay conditions vary, the optimum dilution should be determined for each particular application. Note: The antibody is dissolved in a buffer containing BSA, and is therefore not recommended to use for coating. Normal dilution range: 1:100 - 1: 1000 (Salmoniformes) 1:50 - 1: 200 (Other species)
