CAH3 - carbonic anhydrase is a zinc-containing metalloenzyme that catalyzes thereversible interconversion of CO2 and HCO3–. It plays an important role in manyphysiological functions that involve decarboxylation or carboxylation reactions,including both photosynthesis and respiration.
