Immunogen: This affinity purified antibody was prepared fromwhole rabbit serum produced by repeated immunizations with asynthetic peptide corresponding to aa 115-129 (of 273) of yeastDNA Replication Factor A (RFA2). The RFA complex consists of aheterotrimer of RFA1, RFA2 and RFA3, 69, 36 and 13 kda chainsrespectively. Yeast RFA2 is phosphorylated at the G 1 /S transition and is dephosphorylated at mitosis. Spezifität: This affinity purified antibody is directedagainst yeast RFA2. The product was affinity purified frommonospecific antiserum by immunoaffinity purification. Antiserumwas purified against the phosphorylated form of the immunizingpeptide and then cross adsorbed against the non-phosphorylatedform of the peptide. This antibody consists of antibodies elutedfrom the non-phospho peptide column.

Anwendungen

Applikationshinweise: This affinity-purified antibody was tested for use in western blotting against RFA2 containing cell lysates and by ELISA against the immunizing peptide. Reactivity in other immunoassays is unknown. Recommended Dilutions: This product was assayed by westernblotting against RFA2 containing cell lysates. A 1:100 to 1:500dilution is recommended for this assay. This product was also assayed by ELISA against 0.1 ug of the phosphorylated and non-phosphorylated form of the immunizing peptide. A 1:1,000 to1:3,000 dilution of the antibody is recommended against bothforms of the peptide for this assay.
